Taihan Textile Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 463.09 million compared to KRW 429.76 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 1,387.81 million compared to net income of KRW 413.3 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 384 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 115 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 384 compared to basic earnings per share of KRW 115 a year ago.
TAIHANTEXTILE CO., LTD is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the weaving, spinning and dyeing of fabrics. The Company operates its business in two segments: textile and construction. Its textile segment produces yarns such as cotton yarns, fancy yarns, vortex spinning yarns, velour yarns, melange yarns and slub yarns used for undershirts under the brand name of White Horse, as well as fabrics such as cotton woven fabrics and knit fabrics used for military uniforms, bedding interiors, shirts and jackets under the brand name RAINBOW. Its construction segment is mainly engaged in the construction of apartments. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
