Statement
1.Date of occurrence of the event:2022/01/14
2.Cause of occurrence:Following the 2021/09/06 audit of the Company��s
Yunlin plant,the Environmental Protection Agency��s Central Branch Bureau
found the Company to be in violation of Paragraph 1, Article 20 of the
Air Pollution Control Act and issued a fine of NT$1,350,000.
3.Handling procedure: The Company will pay the fine and attend 2 hours
of environmental protection training. Additionally, the Company will
review its odor-pollutant discharging procedure.
4.Anticipated possible loss or impact:NT$1,350,000
5.Amount of insurance claims that might be obtained:Not applicable
6.Improvement status and future countermeasures:The Company will endeavor to
improve its procedure of discharging odor-pollutants.
