Suzuki Signs Contract with Malaysian Company

to Supply Parts for Motorcycle Production

Suzuki Motor Corporation (hereinafter "Suzuki") has signed a contract with a Malaysian company KMSB Motors Sdn. Bhd (Address: Kuala Lumpur, hereinafter "KMSB") on 15 September, to supply parts for motorcycle production. The contract conclusion ceremony was held at the Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia on the same day, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Honorable Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, with KMSB President Faez Yahaya and Suzuki President Toshihiro Suzuki attending.

KMSB is a group company of AFY Mobility Industries Sdn. Bhd, a sole shareholder of Suzuki Malaysia, which produces and sells Suzuki brand motorcycles in Malaysia. KMSB plans to launch its own motorcycle brand, called "AFAZ".

Suzuki plans to supply engine and body parts for models ranging from 110cc to 150cc of the AFAZ brand starting from the first half of 2024. The supplied parts will be from Suzuki's plants in Southeast Asia.

At the ceremony, President Suzuki said, "In addition to sales of motorcycles, Suzuki would like to contribute to the expansion and prosperity of the Malaysian motorcycle market and industry through supplying parts to KMSB."
