First explorer (Anglo American, 2008) hit high grade gold while drilling for Ni-Cu-PGE targets
Discovery hole SXDD005: 17m @ 6.75g/t gold1
Subsequent drilling (Anglogold Ashanti, 2010) to the south SXDD014: 15m @ 9.09 g/t gold2
Final drilling (Falcon Minerals, 2012) further south disappointing with SXDD016: 1m @ 26.1 g/t gold3
Final drilling program noted: "All holes in the drill program steepened significantly and this is a technical issue that needs to be resolved before drilling recommences."4
No holes drilled between the three high grade gold hits (SXDD005, SXDD014, SXDD016)
SER believes drill hole steepening contributed to missing key targets
