Shian Yih Electronic Industry Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2018. For the full year, the company announced total revenue was TWD 1,843.377 million compared to TWD 1,949.938 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 76.132 million compared to TWD 177.311 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 84.537 million compared to TWD 169.077 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.38 compared to TWD 2.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.36 compared to TWD 2.72 a year ago.
Shian Yih Electronic Industry Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of light emitting diode (LED) backlight modules. The Company's production model is based on Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM). Its products are applied in liquid crystal displays (LCDs), notebook computers, LCD televisions, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and mobile phones, among others. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan and other Asian markets.
