Sea Sonic Electronics Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 530.722 million compared to TWD 452.282 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 86.857 million compared to TWD 58.296 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 77.017 million compared to TWD 45.747 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.96 compared to TWD 0.57 a year ago. For the nine months, sales were TWD 1,791.919 million compared to TWD 1,201.615 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 298.633 million compared to TWD 121.291 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 252.068 million compared to TWD 62.483 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were TWD 3.15 compared to TWD 0.78 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were TWD 3.13 compared to TWD 0.78 a year ago.
Sea Sonic Electronics Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the development, design, research, manufacture and distribution of switching power supplies (SPSs). The Company operates its businesses through personal computer segment, which provides ATX12V series, TFX12V series, industrial computer mini 1U series and industrial computer 1U/2U series, among others, as well as non-PC segment, which offers open frame series and desktop adapters. Its products are applied primarily in desktops, servers and communication network mainframes, among others. The Company distributes its products mainly to overseas markets.
