Columbus Capital, advised by Savills and Capital Real Estate Partners, has sold the freehold of Austin Friars House, 2-6 Austin Friars, London EC2 to a private Eastern European client of Fineman Ross and CEW Capital for approximately £44 million, reflecting a net initial yield of circa 5%.

The 60,316 sq ft (5,604 sq m) office building was redeveloped behind a retained facade in 1989 and comprehensively refurbished in 2012.  Austin Friars House is currently multi-let to four tenants including FirstRand Bank, Bupa, Bravura Solutions and Redington. There are two vacant floors at the property, which was sold with the benefit of rental top ups. The vacant floors will be relaunched into the City leasing market by the purchaser.
