SAP SE announced unaudited preliminary earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported cloud and software revenue of €6,320 million against €5,807 million a year ago. Total revenue was €7,428 million against €6,805 million a year ago. Operating profit was €2,401 million against €1,964 million a year ago. Profit after tax was €1,692 million against €1,864 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was €1.41 against €1.54 a year ago.

For the full year, the company reported cloud and software revenue of €20,622 million against €19,549 million a year ago. Total revenue was €24,708 million against €23,461 million a year ago. Operating profit was €5,705 million against €4,877 million a year ago. Profit after tax was €4,089 million against €4,046 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was €3.42 against €3.35 a year ago.

For the year 2019, the company expects Non-IFRS cloud and software revenue is expected to be in a range of €22.4 – €22.7 billion at constant currencies (2018: €20.66 billion), up 8.5% – 10% at constant currencies. Non-IFRS operating profit is expected to be in a range of €7.7 – €8.0 billion at constant currencies (2018: €7.16 billion), up 7.5% – 11.5% at constant currencies.

For the year 2020, the company expects €28.6 - €29.2 billion non-IFRS total revenue (previously €28.0 - €29.0 billion). €8.5 - €9.0 billion non-IFRS operating profit.
