WALLDORF (dpa-AFX) - Executive Board member Sabine Bendiek will leave software group SAP at the end of the year. Bendiek will not extend her contract, which runs until the end of 2023, at her own request, the company announced in Walldorf on Friday. The search for a successor is ongoing. Previously, the "Manager Magazin" had reported.

At SAP, Bendiek was head of human resources and chief operating officer (COO), meaning she was also responsible for the group's operational processes. She joined SAP in January 2021, before which she was head of Microsoft Germany. The supervisory board deeply regrets the decision, said Hasso Plattner, chairman of the supervisory board, according to the statement. Plattner thanked Bendiek "for her outstanding work and full commitment to the transformation of SAP."

The contracts of Executive Board member Julia White (marketing) and Executive Board member Scott Russell (sales) were each extended by the supervisory board for three years until 2027, according to the release./rwi/DP/stk
