5.Cause of occurrence:The Board of Directors of the Company has resolved on
June 14, 2022 to dispose of twelve pieces of lands, including buildings on
them, located at Land No. 259, Ronghua Section, Hsinfong Hsiang, Hsinchu
County. A press briefing concerning material information will be held at the
Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation on the same day at 5:30 pm.

The Board of Directors has resolved to dispose of twelve pieces of lands
located at Land No.259,261,262,263,264,264-1,265,266,267,267-1,268,269,
Ronghua Section, Hsinfong Hsiang, Hsinchu County, a total area of
15,085.55 ping (including a 1,196.09 ping building at No. 00128, Ronghua
Section), at a price for NT$1.2 billion to CHUAN SHING ENGINEERING
CORPORATION, a non-related party. It is estimated that the gains on
disposals of investment property would be NT$1.085 billion, and the
land value increment tax would be NT$198 million. The gain on disposals
of investment property will be entered into the corporate account book
according to the generally accepted accounting principles after the
transaction is completed and all related taxes are paid.
