Plakor Corporation announced that it has received KRW 26.01 billion in funding from SAMBO MOTOS Co,.Ltd. and another investor.

Plakor Corporation announced a private placement of 937,500 common shares at KRW 16,000 per share for KRW 15,000,000,000 and 688,275 preferred shares at KRW 16,000 per share for KRW 11,012,400,000 for gross proceeds of KRW 26,012,400,000 on December 17, 2014. The investor included participation from new investors, SAMBO MOTOS Co,.Ltd., which subscribed to 937,500 common shares and acquired 16% stake of the company and HNNSC Private Equity Fund, which subscribed to 688,275 preferred shares. The shares have face value of KRW 5,000 and are issued at premium of KRW 11,000 per share. The transaction happened through third party allocation. The transaction has been approved by board of directors of the SAMBO MOTOS Co,.Ltd. The company reported total assets of KRW 305,009,550,731 for the year ended 2013.
On December 17, 2014, Plakor Corporation closed the transaction.
SAMBO MOTORS CO., LTD is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture of automobile components together with its subsidiaries. The Companyâs products portfolio consists of transmission parts including carrier plates, automatic plates, shaft assembly clutch release forks, rings, covers and center supports; engine parts including water pipes, oil screens, oil level gauges, heater pipes, stays and others, as well as fuel parts including fuel filler necks.
