FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Shares in SAF-Holland, which were strong from the start on Wednesday, only briefly extended their gains in the afternoon following the increase in the company's targets. At a peak of 13.48 euros, the shares jumped to their highest level since the end of July. They were last quoted at plus 7.4 percent at 13.19 euros and thus held second place in the small cap index SDax.

After a surprisingly good third quarter, the commercial vehicle supplier had again adjusted its annual targets upwards. Analyst Jorge Gonzalez Sadornil from Hauck & Aufhäuser had previously expected a solid quarterly report and also an increase in the company's forecasts./ajx/jha/
