Carlos Ghosn, who is fighting breach of trust and other charges in Japan, has resigned as head of Renault SA. Ghosn has been detained for more than two months in Japan. The company announced that Jean- Dominique Senard, Chief Executive Officer of the Michelin Group has agreed to become Chairman of the Board of Directors of Renault effective January 24, 2019 and Renault executive Thierry Bollore as CEO.
