Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 347.464 million compared to TWD 300.116 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 81.279 million compared to TWD 72.405 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 62.570 million compared to TWD 59.415 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.51 compared to TWD 2.41 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.48 compared to TWD 2.36 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 743.008 million compared to TWD 867.816 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 142.574 million compared to TWD 224.573 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 112.306 million compared to TWD 190.898 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.5 compared to TWD 7.73 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 4.45 compared to TWD 7.59 a year ago.
Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in design, manufacture and sales of radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) and integrated RF systems. The Company's main products are RFICs, including RF tuners, LNB outdoor units and satellite-related ICs. Its products are widely used in set-top boxes for TV, digital cable, terrestrial broadcasting andsatellite, as well as satellite front-end receiving systems and wireless RF transmission systems.
