PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk is an Indonesia-based company, which in engaged in the manufacturing of alkylbenzene (AB) chemicals, which is the main raw material for the production of detergents. The Company’s segments include chemicals and real estate. It produces two types of AB, namely linear alkylbenzene (LAB) and branched alkylbenzene (BAB), with by-products heavy alkylate (HA) and light alkylate (LA). The Company has three AB plant units all in one location, with a total production capacity of 270,000 metric ton (MT) per year (combination of LAB and BAB). It exports to various companies, including United States of America, Australia, Netherlands, China, Japan, Malaysia, France, Thailand and Vietnam. The Company’s subsidiaries Company’s subsidiaries include Universal Interchemicals Corp. Pte., Ltd. (UICPL) and PT Unggul Indah Investama (UII), which are engaged in trading and investment business. Its products are consumed by large and detergent manufacturers.
