PT Martina Berto Tbk reported consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2012. For the year, the company reported net sales of IDR 144,888,445,633 against IDR 131,183,858,328 for the same period a year ago. Income before income tax was IDR 13,875,489,171 against IDR 12,587,664,578 for the same period a year ago. Net income for the year was IDR 10,833,067,115 against IDR 10,002,175,010 for the same period a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was IDR 10,832,992,521 against IDR 10,002,110,041 for the same period a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share were IDR 10.12 compared to 9.35 a year ago. Net cash flows used in operating activities were IDR 10,049,498,769 compared to 4,232,591,090 a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment were IDR 3,960,314,072 compared to 5,665,317,028 a year ago.
PT Martina Berto Tbk is an Indonesia-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing and trading of traditional herbal (jamu) and cosmetic products. The products of the Company are marketed in domestic and international markets. The Company operates through three segments: Cosmetics, Herbal, and Others. The Companyâs subsidiaries are PT Cedefindo, and PT Tara Parama Semesta. The Company and its subsidiaries own production facilities, which are grouped into four categories, such as liquid cosmetics, including face cleansing liquids, moisturizers, toners, foundation, body splash cologne, hair spray and others; dry cosmetics, including eye shadow, blush-on, loose and compact powder, and others; semi slid cosmetics, including lipstick, creamy foundation and others; and herbal, including traditional face masker, body scrubs and herbal tea.
