Southern National Bancorp of Virginia, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 25.654 million compared to USD 20.669 million a year ago. Net income was USD 8.963 million compared to USD 8.964 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.37 compared to USD 0.37 a year ago. For the full year, net interest income was USD 91.640 million compared to USD 83.600 million a year ago. Net income was USD 23.287 million compared to USD 33.167 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.96 compared to USD 1.38 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.96 compared to USD 1.36 a year ago.
