Pidilite Industries Limited received an Order dated 29th April, 2024, which was received vide email from the Deputy Commissioner, State Tax, Guwahati, Zone B, Assam imposing penalty of INR 20,000/- as per the applicable provisions of the Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017. GST department has levied penalty for the disallowance of ITC availed as per provisions of the Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 for the year 2018-19.
