Opticis Company Limited (KOSDAQ:A109080) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 1,000 million pursuant to a trust contract with Industrial Bank of Korea. The purpose of the share repurchase program is to stabilize the share price and to raise the company’s corporate image. The share repurchase program is valid until March 24, 2021. As of March 23, 2020, the company had 740,773 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had 3,000 shares in treasury through other repurchase.
Opticis Company Limited is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture of digital fiber optic link products used for computer, audio and video industries. The Company's products portfolio consists of optical digital visual interface (DVI) extenders, optical high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) extenders, serial digital interface (SDI) extenders, display port extenders, universal serial bus (USB) extenders, optical firewire repeaters, fiber optical cables, DVI optical splitters, matrix routers, DVI and HDMI distributors and switchers, SDI converters, fiber optical multi-format converters, HD media players, as well as hand-held video signal generators.
