Oceanic Beverages Co., Inc. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 132.403 million compared to TWD 149.094 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 804,000 compared to operating Income of TWD 1.145 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 9.256 million compared to net income of TWD 1.690 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.16 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.03 a year ago.

The Company also operates service areas on highways to provide restaurants, retail stores and related ancillary facilities. The Company operates through three segments. The Sales of Beverages segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture, wholesales and retailing of soda drinks and beverages. Its products include apple cider series, water series, 580 series and fruit juice series. The Operation of Service Areas segment is mainly engaged in the operation of service areas. The Shanghai Operation segment is engaged in the operation businesses in Shanghai. The Company operates businesses in Taiwan, Asia and other regions.
