JORC Code Clarification Statement

Northern Mining Limited ("the Company") wishes to clarify that the previous announcement made on 10 March 2014 titled "Drilling Commences at Blair North Northern Zone" has inadvertently stated an incorrect Competent Persons Statement.

The correct Competent Persons Statement in relation to that announcement dated 10 March 2014 appears below.

The Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (the 'JORC Code') sets out minimum standards, recommendations and guidelines for Public Reporting in Australasia of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves. The information contained in this announcement was prepared and first disclosed under the JORC Code 2004. It has not been updated since to comply with the JORC Code 2012 on the basis that the information has not materially changed since it was last reported. References to "Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resources" are to those terms as defined in the JORC Code (2004 edition).
The information in this report that relates to Exploration Targets, Exploration Results, Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves is based on information reviewed by Newexco Services Pty Ltd's Consulting Geologist Mr Adrian Black, a Competent Person who is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. Mr Black has sufficient experience relevant to the style of mineralization and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the
2004 Edition of the "Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves". Mr Black consents to the inclusion in the report of the matters based on this information in the form and context in which it appears. Mr Black is a Non-Executive Director of Northern Mining Limited and has interests in securities in entities that are shareholders of
Northern Mining Ltd, as disclosed in the ASX announcements.
