Ngenic AB has signed a partner agreement with Residential IoT Services GmbH to integrate Ngenic products with the Smart home platform Home Connect Plus. Residential IoT is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.

Ngenic and Home Connect Plus: the smart home reimagined
The reason behind the smart integration of Ngenic and Home Connect Plus is obvious: to get the most out of one’s smart home. The team behind Home Connect Plus is an independent startup created by Robert Bosch GmbH, that looks at the future of smart home in a holistic way. To sum it up, “With Home Connect Plus, we are responding to a great need felt by smart home users: more compatibility with less complexity. You no longer need to be a techie to connect and control smart technology in a clever way, there is now an app for that”, says Lauri Pesonen, CEO of Residential IoT Services GmbH, the company behind Home Connect Plus.

The Home Connect Plus app can be used across different brands and is available free of charge in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Netherlands, in all app stores. What’s more, the app’s launch was just the beginning of the continued development of the range. New features are due to be offered regularly. There are also plans to jointly develop services that will further benefit users.

“Ngenic is delighted to be able to now offer its customers the many possibilities of Home Connect Plus – making it a part of a network that includes well-known partners such as Philips Hue, Bosch, Sonos, Tado or Homematic IP, to name just a few”, says Björn Berg, CEO Ngenic AB.

“The smart home can be much more than just gadgets. With Home Connect Plus, we want to make connecting and controlling devices simple and accessible for everyone. This can only happen through cooperation with many partners, and we are delighted to be able to welcome Ngenic to our network”, concludes Lauri Pesonen.
