Efftec International, Inc. announced their continued partnership with Saber Healthcare Group in support of that company’s telemedicine program expansion. Through year-end 2018, TeleCare Partners Group provided telemedicine equipment, onboarding, and ongoing support services to 76 skilled nursing facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and Indiana. In this next phase, TeleCare Partners Group will continue support of Saber and its “Transitional Care Model” by providing enhanced services and equipment to an additional 12 selected facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region. Saber facilities use telemedicine for a patient change in condition on nights, weekends, and holidays when physicians are typically not in the facility. Telemedicine is also utilized by Saber facilities when a patient’s physician cannot be reached, or should the patient’s physician request a second opinion.
