New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was USD 38.08 million compared to USD 41.75 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 57.9 million compared to net income of USD 20.86 million a year ago.
Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.75 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.75 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.11 a year ago.

The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, investing in, financing, and managing primarily mortgage-related single-family and multi-family residential assets. Its objective is to deliver long-term stable distributions to its stockholder.
