At the end of December 2022, Neoen announced that it had signed a virtual power purchase agreement (Virtual PPA) with Coveris, one of Europe's leading packaging companies, the second Corporate PPA signed by the French renewable energies group in Sweden.

Coveris will purchase the equivalent of over 60% of the green electricity produced and fed into the Swedish grid by the future Storbrännkullen wind farm, which will have a total capacity of 57.4 MW and is scheduled to come on stream at the end of 2023.

This 10-year contract is partially indexed to market prices. The remaining energy from this future wind farm and the guarantees of origin will be sold by Neoen on the Nordic electricity market.
