NCC : Director of Product and Development, Michelle Barry named in the 2022 Northern Power Women – Power List

Recognised as a trailblazer who challenges the norm and ensures that everyone realises the benefits of a gender balanced workplace, NCC Group's Director of Product and Development, Michelle Barry has been named in the 2022 Northern Power Women Power List announced today.

The list, compiled through a list of open nomination and selection by a panel of judges, shines the spotlight on amazing role models in or from the North of the UK.

Michelle comments:

"I am delighted to be included in this year's Northern Power Women - Power List and take great pride in joining the incredible women who have been included in the list over the years.

Recognising women's impact in business at all levels and in all disciplines and sectors is vital and I hope shining a light through initiatives such as this will inspire those looking for career moves, changes or re-entry and the next generation of Northern Power Women."

Simone Roche MBE, Founder and CEO of Northern Power Women, commented on both the high quality and quantity of nominations, after nearly two years since the last awards nomination period.

"Once again this year I have been absolutely amazed at the outstanding number and quality of nominations we've received and it has been hugely impressive to see the range of organisations represented - from sport, media and tech to influential academics and entrepreneurs," said Simone. "I've always known there were incredible role models in and from the North, but after receiving 1400 nominations, I have to say that even I was astounded. Our incredible category panels made up of 70 judges had a difficult - but inspiring - time identifying the shortlisted nominees."

The Power List announced today will be celebrated on the evening of the Northern Power Women awards on 21 March 2022 at Manchester Central Convention Complex.
