Qualifications Masters International Relations University of Cambridge, Masters Business Administration University of Warwick, Professional Qualification ACCA ACCA, Degree Bachelor of Accounting University of Malaya.

Working experience and occupation Mr. Yoong Swie Leong (Nicholas) joined Arthur Andersen & Co. in 2000 after graduating from University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Accounting where he was a Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants scholar. He was subsequently awarded a British Chevening scholarship in 2001.

After graduating in 2002, he continued his training as an accountant with the U.K. firm of Ernst & Young LLP where he focused primarily on transaction advisory assignments across Europe, specialising in turnaround, transformation and growth, eventually moving back to Singapore in 2011 as Executive Director. From 2011 to 2013, he was a director with Kroll (previously Borrelli Walsh), a leading international restructuring firm where he was instrumental in the successful USD2.6bn turnaround and restructuring of Berlian Laju Tanker, a dual-listed shipper in Singapore and Jakarta. In 2013, Nicholas transitioned from professional services to company-side by joining Taylors Education Pte Ltd. as Chief Operating Officer.

He was responsible for the Groups international businesses, corporate finance matters and overseas expansion. This included the successful 2015 EDB RFI bid to establish Nexus International School Singapore and British University Vietnams expansion into a new campus in Ecopark, Hanoi. In 2017, he was appointed as Group CEO of Intraco Limited, a Mainboard publicly-listed company in Singapore with diversified businesses staying on for 5 years until his service agreement ended in 2022.

He is currently the Group Chief Global Business Officer, for NR Instant Produce PCL, a Mainboard publicly-listed company in Thailand which focuses on sustainable food manufacturing, climate action and e-commerce with leadership responsibilities over the Groups European and U.S. businesses. He also serves as a Senior Advisor at PwC Singapore's Strategic Solutions and Turnaround Group. Nicholas is a member of Young Presidents Organisation and Oxbridge Malaysia and Singapore.
