Mostostal Zabrze : Another contract for sports facility

On October 3, 2018, MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego S. A. (MZ GPBP) signed a contract with the Municipal Office in Świętochłowice for the reconstruction of the speedway stadium with facilities and accompanying infrastructure at the 'Skałka' Sports and Recreation Center in Świętochłowice. The investment aims to restore the basic functions of the football and speedway stadium and will last for 600 days. The scope of the order includes: demolition works, track renovation, pitches and stands, replacement of paved surfaces with networks and installations related to the functioning of the stadium. The subject of the order also includes the reconstruction and thermal modernization of the main building of the 'Skałka'Sports and Recreation Center and the construction of new buildings, other objects and elements of land development.
It is worth mentioning that this is the sixth contract carried out for the Świętochłowice Commune, and the second in the 'Skalka' Sports and Recreation Center. In previous years, MZ GPBP carried out construction works involving the revitalization of a municipal swimming pool in natural pond technology based on an unused pool in the 'Skałka' Sports and Recreation Center, renovation of the Silesian Uprisings Museum, adaptation of the historic mining towers of the former 'Polska' coal mine and investments related to road works.
