Mitsubishi Electric Corp. to Consolidate Manufacture of PLC, Operator Panels at Nagoya Works

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. announced that, in a continuing effort to expand its global business in factory automation (FA), the company will consolidate the development and manufacture of programmable logic controllers or PLCs and operator panels, core products for FA, at its Nagoya Works from April 2015. The development and manufacture of Micro PLC and small-range operator panels will be transferred from the Himeji Works.

The Nagoya Works currently develops and manufactures midsize and large PLCs and operator panels.
