Mercuries & Associates Holding, Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 53,403.327 million compared to TWD 55,495.143 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 895.460 million compared to TWD 391.001 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.04 compared to TWD 0.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.94 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago.
MERCURIES & ASSOCIATES, HOLDINGS LTD. is a Taiwan-based investment holding company principally engaged in life insurance businesses. The Company operates through four businesses. The Retail of Daily Commodities and Food businesses include the trading of garments, accessories, toys, medical supplies, infant products, jewelries, glasses and porcelains, as well as the provision of fast food. The Life Insurance businesses include personal insurance, personal health insurance, personal accident insurance, personal pension insurance and group insurance, among others. Pharmaceuticals businesses include the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), API intermediates and specialized chemicals.
