Meiho Enterprise Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter of fiscal year ending July 31, 2019. Net sales were JPY 1,385 million compared to JPY 3,813 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 17 million compared to JPY 939 million a year ago. basic loss per share was JPY 1.84 compared to earnings per share of JPY 31.98 a year ago.
For the two quarters the company expects net sales of JPY 3,2000 million. operating loss of JPY 190 million. Basic loss per shares is expected to be JPY 9.31.
For the year ending July 31, 2019 the company expects net sales of JPY 14,000 million. operating income of JPY 920 million. Basic earnings per shares is expected to be JPY 25.10.
MEIHO ENTERPRISE CO., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the real estate business. The Real Estate Allotment Sale segment is engaged in the allotment sale of condominiums developed by the Company, the renovation and sale of pre-owned condominiums, the development of attached house and town house, as well as the allotment sale of properties as its joint venture business. The Real Estate Leasing segment leases condominiums and buildings. The Real Estate Brokerage segment is involved in the brokerage business of land for condominium use, as well as other brokerage businesses. The Others segment provides real estate leasing-related services, such as the acquisition of construction management fee and other various consulting reward.
