2. Reason for dividend amount
Regarding the decision for distribution of dividends from surplus, the Company will continue to actively return profits to shareholders by securing the internal reserves necessary for future business development and strengthening of our management structure, while promoting growth strategies that effectively utilize these reserves. Internal reserve funds will be used to invest in the Smart Factory, construction of MHC's new factory building, research and development, production facilities, and to strengthen sales and marketing activities.
Based on the strong consolidated results and the policy stated above, the Company has decided to increase the year-end dividend by 2 yen from the previous forecast to 21 yen per share for the fiscal year ended August 2023.
