Makalot Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 6,120.983 million compared to TWD 4,725.535 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 778.057 million compared to TWD 443.418 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 551.481 million compared to TWD 353.611 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.28 compared to TWD 1.61 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.28 compared to TWD 1.6 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 12,937.782 million compared to TWD 10,856.419 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,572.424 million compared to TWD 1,039.583 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,201.647 million compared to TWD 780.694 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.17 compared to TWD 3.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.16 compared to TWD 3.53 a year ago.
