Medibang Inc. announced that it has entered into purchase agreement with the investor, Kyodo Printing Co., Ltd. on October 14, 2021. The company will issue 625 common shares to the investor for 3.18% stake post transaction. The transaction is expected to close on October 20, 2021.
The securities are issued through third-party allotment.
Kyodo Printing Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the plate making, printing, bookbinding, as well as other related incidental businesses. The Company operates in three business segments. The Information Communication segment is engaged in periodicals business, books business, general commercial printing and related services. The Information Security segment is engaged in business forms business, securities printing business, cards business and related services. The Living & Industrial Materials segment is engaged in metal printing business, tubes, paper containers business, flexible packaging business and building materials business. The other businesses include logistics business, insurance handling business and real estate management business.
