Kikusui Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2016. For the period, net sales were JPY 9,728 million against JPY 10,557 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 56 million against JPY 372 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 80 million against JPY 392 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 56 million against JPY 236 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 4.54 against JPY 18.97 a year ago.
For the full year ending March 31, 2017, the company expects to report net sales of JPY 21,000 million, operating income of JPY 210 million, ordinary income of JPY 233 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 203 million or net income per share of JPY 16.23.

The building base adjustment materials are used for base adjustment of interior and exterior finishing work. The tile adhesive materials are used for attaching a tile to a wall surface.
