Kegalle Plantations PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company engaged in the cultivation, manufacture and sale of rubber, tea, coconut, cardamom, and other agricultural produce. The Companyâs segments include Rubber, Tea, Coconut, and Others. The Company's plantations are situated in the planting districts of Kegalle, Kurunegala and Badulla. The Company manages approximately 17 estates which in total have a land base of around 7,289 hectares (ha) in Kegalle, Kurunegala and Badulla Districts. It has a land base around 10,000 hectares (ha) in Kegalle, Kurunegala and Badulla Districts. Of this land base, around 5,200 ha are rubber, 1,400 ha under tea and another 500 ha are coconut. The Company produces around four million kilograms (kg) of rubber and two million kg of tea inclusive of bought crop.
