JTEC Corporation (JASDAQ:2479) agreed to acquire 82% stake in Tostem Engineering Office Co., Ltd. from LIXIL Corporation for ¥41 million on September 25, 2012. JTEC will acquire 820 shares of Tostem. The transaction will be funded from JTEC's funds on hand.

For the year ending March 2012, Tostem reported net assets of ¥28.14 million, total assets of ¥205.55 million, sales of ¥835.48 million, operating profit of ¥49.5 million, and net income of ¥29.02 million. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of JTEC on September 25, 2012 and is expected to complete on October 1, 2012.
