Jindal Saw Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 40,435.4 million compared to INR 29,728.8 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 40,668.8 million compared to INR 30,049.7 million a year ago. Net income was INR 594.2 million compared to INR 1,200.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 1.87 compared to INR 3.78 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 1.87 compared to INR 3.78 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 75,218.2 million compared to INR 58,574.8 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 75,773.4 million compared to INR 59,305.1 million a year ago. Net income was INR 642.7 million compared to INR 2,721.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.02 compared to INR 8.56 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.02 compared to INR 8.56 a year ago.

The Company manufactures submerged arc welded (SAW) pipes and spiral pipes for the energy transportation sector; carbon, alloy and seamless pipes and tubes for industrial applications; DI pipes and fittings for water and wastewater transportation. It serves a range of customers' including oil and gas exploration, transportation, power generation, supply of water for drinking, drainage, irrigation purposes, and others.
