Royole Corporation and JD.COM Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement at CES in Las Vegas

Royole Corporation has officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with JD.COM on the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Through the agreement, the two companies will build a comprehensive, long-term plan to actively explore human-machine interface technologies, including flexible displays, flexible sensors and smart devices, so as to build flexible electronics into platform technology solutions and apply them into every walk of life. According to the agreement, Royole and JD.COM will have a long term strategic partnership and have cooperation across the product design, marketing and content channels for different industrial applications, including consumer electronics, smart transportation, smart home, architectural decoration, office & education, and even robotics.
JD.com, Inc. is the No. 2 Chinese consumer Internet sales platform. In parallel to this activity, the group has developed a marketplace to connect third-party sellers with customers. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of products (85.7%): consumer electronic goods and electrical household goods (60.4% of net sales; computers and peripherals, digital products, mobile phones, TVs, players, loudspeakers, cameras, digital video cameras, games consoles, etc.) and other (39.6%; clothing and accessories, household goods, luxury products, home accessories, personal beauty products, cosmetics, food, media products, leisure goods, sports equipment, etc.);
- services (14.3%).
