Minerales Industrias Corporation announced that on July 9, 2012, the company received the resignation of Ms. Victoria M. Vazquez as a member of the Board of Directors/independent director of the company. In view of such resignation as a director, Ms. Vazquez likewise resigned as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the company.
