Image Resources Receives a Further Notice from Murray Zircon

On January 28, 2022, Image Resources NL announced that it refers to its ASX announcements dated 21 and January 25, 2022, regarding the receipt and subsequent withdrawal of a notice given by Murray Zircon Pty Ltd under section 249D of the Corporations Act 2001. The Company stated that it has received a further notice from Murray Zircon under section 249D of the Corporations Act. The Company added that pursuant to the further notice, Murray Zircon proposes the Company's shareholders consider resolutions to: (i) remove 3 directors of the Company, being Robert Besley, Patrick Mutz, and Chaodian Chen; and (ii) appoint Chaohua Huang, Graham Hewson, and Ran Xu as directors of the Company.

The Company also stated that it would comply with its obligations under the Corporations Act to convene a general meeting of shareholders within 21 days of receipt of the further notice and hold that meeting within 2 months of receipt of the further notice.

Company Profile

Image Resources NL is an Australia-based mineral sands focused mining company. The Company is engaged in operating an open-cut mine and ore processing facility at its 100%-owned, high-grade, zircon-rich Boonanarring Project, located 80 kilometers (km) north of Perth in the infrastructure rich North Perth Basin. The Boonanarring Project comprises a zircon rich open pit mine and wet concentrate plant (WCP). The project produces zircon rich, heavy mineral concentrate (HMC) which is exported to international markets through the port of Bunbury. The Companyâs Atlas Development Project is s located 90 km north of Boonanarring. Its mineralization extends from surface to 16 meters (m) depth and has an average thickness of 3.5 m and a maximum thickness of 12 m. The Companyâs tenements are located in Western Australia, and all mineral sands related tenements are located in the North Perth Basin, across a combined area of 1,704 square kilometers.
