HealthBeacon extends deal with Hamilton Beach for US growth

HealthBeacon PLC - Dublin-based devices and software developer for managing critical and chronic medications - Extends partnership with Hamilton Beach Brands Inc to include HealthBeacon's Smart Sharps Bin Technology supply chain in the US. Smart Sharp Bin is an injection adherence device for patients that self-administer medications at home. Says the expansion will reduce supply and distribution costs, as well as support positive working capital movement and profit. HealthBeacon and Hamilton Beach have been collaborating since 2021 to provide a smart injection care management system in the US. Hamilton Beach is a North Carolina-based designer, marketer and distributor of branded small electric household appliances.

Shares in HealthBeacon were up 9.1% at EUR1.08 each in Dublin on Monday morning.
