Havells India reported earnings results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported 27.54% increase in net profit at INR 1,529.7 million. The increase in net profit during the third quarter was on account of an exceptional profit of INR 190 million due to divestment of remaining 20% stake in its associate company Havells Exim. The company had posted a net profit of INR 1,199.3 million in the same period of the previous fiscal. Total income from operations stood at INR 16,220.7 million during the third quarter against INR 14,315.9 million during the same period of the previous fiscal.
