For the second consecutive year Standard Ethics assigns to the Bank the sustainability rating EE+,

keeping the highest rating assigned to financial institutions globally

Milan, June 23rd 2021

The independent Sustainability Agency Standard Ethics1 confirmed Fineco's rating "EE+" for the second consecutive year, thus placing the Bank among the only two credit institutions that achieved the most solid sustainability score currently assigned.

Among the motivations that led to the decision, Standard Ethics mentions Fineco's flexibility and a swift reception to market challenges: characteristics which have enabled a rapid implementation of ESG strategies in line with the international sustainability guidance provided by the UN, OECD and EU. Moreover, the agency highlights the development of adequate governance of sustainability tools, starting from FinecoBank's Board of Directors, which represents a best practice in terms of independence, professional pluralism and gender equality.

Lorena Pelliciari, Chief Financial Officer and chairman of Fineco Sustainability Management Committee: "We're very satisfied about this result as it confirms Fineco's ability to keep over time the high levels reached in sustainability, while accelerating in its path of growth. Being considered among the excellence of the banking sector not only for our swift answer to market challenges, but also for our governance, strengthens our effort for widening to more and more fields our principles of corporate ethics."

The "EE+" rating is considered by Standard Ethics Rating a "very strong investment grade", assigned to sustainable companies with a low reputational risk and a strong long-term growth prospects.
