E.ON announces the use of artificial intelligence, via its tool ' E.ON GPT ' to support the implementation of the energy transition.

The company says that from now on, all 74,000 E.ON employees will be able to access the energy-specific functions and knowledge of their 'new AI colleague'.

For example, E.ON GPT supports research and word-processing activities, and serves as a virtual training partner for employees on energy-related issues.

' Generative AI also plays an important role for us. If we understand how to use this technology and what its risks are, it offers the possibility of successfully mastering the energy transition for many tasks in the energy sector and is an essential tool', commented Victoria Ossadnik, E.ON Board Member for Digitalization and Innovation.
