Italian oil major Eni said Monday that its subsidiary Enilive has completed the acquisition of Atenoil, a company that owns a network of 21 service stations in Spain.

Eni said that the stations are in Madrid, Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha, and will expand Enilive's network in Iberia to a total of 38 facilities.

The company said that the traditional offer of fuels and lubricants will be completed by new biofuels including renewable diesel (HVO) and electric chargers.

As part of its strategy for 2024-2027, Eni was targeting the expansion of its Enilive service station network with more than 300 premium stations in Italy and abroad.
