During the last shareholders' meetings of Empresas Copec and the forestry subsidiary, the members of their respective boards of directors were elected for the next three years.

Thus, the board of directors of the group's parent company was composed of Marcela Achurra, as Independent Director, Jorge Andueza, Maurizio Angelini, Roberto Angelini, Juan Edgardo Goldenberg, José Tomás Guzmán Rencoret, replacing Manuel Bezanilla, Karin Jürgensen, Andrés Lehuedé and Francisco León. In addition, Roberto Angelini was ratified by the Board as Chairman, and Jorge Andueza as Vice-Chairman.

Meanwhile, ARAUCO's Board of Directors is now composed of Marcela Bravo, the first woman to hold this position in the forestry company, Jorge Andueza, Roberto Angelini, Jorge Bunster, Matías Domeyko, Juan Ignacio Langlois, Franco Mellafe, Eduardo Navarro and Timothy C. Purcell.

Manuel Bezanilla left the board of directors after 38 years and the presidency of ARAUCO, which he held for 11 years. Alberto Etchegaray also left the board after 30 years. Matías Domeyko was appointed Chairman of the forestry company.

In this way, the Company continues to make progress in the strengthening and diversity of its corporate governance.
