Press release

Olivier Berthelot appointed president of Eiffage Construction

Effective 1 July 2024, Olivier Berthelot has been appointed Chairman of Eiffage Construction and, in this role, will take a seat on the Executive Committee. He succeeds Olivier Genis who has held this position since March 2017 and has decided to take retirement.

A graduate of the prestigious ESTP engineering school, Olivier Berthelot has since 2022 been the Chairman of Nové, the concession holder for the contract to manage, renovate and develop housing stock owned by the French Ministry of Armed Forces. To ensure a smooth handover, in January 2024, he was appointed Deputy CEO at Eiffage Construction while he continued to chair Nové.

Olivier Berthelot has devoted his entire career to the Group. He joined in 1991 as a property programme manager. He then held many positions in Eiffage Construction's production teams, before becoming, from 2005, director of various subsidiaries in the Paris area.

In 2011, he was appointed director at Eiffage Construction Major Projects, then Regional Director in 2014. In 2019, he became an operations director at Eiffage Génie Civil and was in charge of all production for the lot 1 of the line 16 of the Grand Paris Express, before finally joining Eiffage Concessions as special projects director.

Eiffage Construction and the rest of the Group will benefit from Oliver Berthelot's knowledge of all our different business lines.
