PITTSBURGH, PA
- Power management company Eaton is showcasing an expanded portfolio of industrial control and support solutions at the 2017 Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating (AHR) Exposition in Las Vegas from Jan. 30 through Feb. 1, 2017. At booth #C2524, visitors can also explore new solutions and hands-on demonstrations at Eaton's 'Industrial Controls in Motion' trailer display, an exhibit designed to help educate customers and consumers about the newest energy efficient innovations available for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) applications.

'At the AHR Expo, customers can see first hand how Eaton's comprehensive portfolio of power management and industrial control solutions work together to solve real-world challenges more efficiently - while also lowering costs, minimizing downtime, and improving system performance,' said Nicole Angiola, product manager, Eaton.
Eaton's products and services on display at AHR Expo booth #C2524 include innovations such as:

  • Variable frequency drive (VFD) motor protection solutions providing energy savings of up to 10 percent compared to standard drives, with built-in multi-pump control and integrated logic for faster startup. The VFDs also feature redundant packages designed to enhance control and communications to help maximize uptime, and advanced protections to help improve proactive maintenance.
  • A range of intuitive Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) providing real-time fault alerts and troubleshooting guides via email or text message, while identifying and communicating faults for quicker system recovery time.
  • A full portfolio of motor control and circuit protection solutions including motor management relays and overloads, molded case circuit breakers and Bussmann fuses designed to help customers meet short-circuit current rating (SCCR) requirements and improve safety.
  • XT® IEC contactors including non-reversing and reversing contactors and starters as well as overload relays and accessories designed to help reduce energy consumption and installation time.
  • Eaton's B-Line® series 4DimensionTM strut system with a multi-side dovetail design that helps improve functionality, while helping reduce complexity in the most common applications. The new 4Dimension trapeze hangers help reduce material costs and installation time by up to 50 percent.
The 'Industrial Controls in Motion' display will feature Eaton's leading innovations in industrial control and support solutions, including B-Line cable tray systems and supports, Bussmann circuit protection and safety equipment, and Crouse-Hinds LED lighting series solutions. Live demo areas include HVAC, pumping station, conveyor, and material handling and processing. An interactive IoT (Internet of Things) component will allow visitors to create their own fault situation and receive alerts on their mobile phones.

AHR attendees will also have the opportunity to consult with application experts, discuss current challenges and industry trends, and interact with Eaton's latest solutions directly to learn how to better meet energy efficiency requirements, simplify systems management and lower total cost of applications, installation and ownership.
