Dong-cheol Kim, Chief Executive Officer of Dongwoon Anatech Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A094170) signed a definitive agreement to acquire an additional 9.65% stake in Dongwoon Anatech Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A094170) from STIC Pan-Asia Technology Fund managed by STIC Investments, Inc on July 20, 2017. Under the terms, Dong-cheol Kim will acquire 0.58 million shares. As of July 24, 2017, Dong-cheol Kim held 0.44 million shares, representing 7.35% stake in Dongwoon Anatech Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to close on September 12, 2017.
Dongwoon Anatech Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in manufacturing integrated circuits (ICs). The Companyâs product portfolio consists of auto focus driver ICs used for mobile cameras; display driver ICs including active matrix/organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) direct current (DC)/DC converters used to drive AMOLED displays, and display driver IC (DDI) power ICs used to supply power to DDI for mobile phones and tablets; LED lighting ICs; various ICs for mobile back light units (BLUs), power management, LED flash, charging batteries, among others, and high definition (HD) haptic driver ICs.
